Scariness/Suspense: 3-3.5

Language: Some

Moderate

Violence:
Quite a Bit

Magic: None

Favorite Quote: "They seek him here. They seek him there. Those Frenchies seek him everywhere. Is he in Heaven? Or is he in Hell? That damned, illusive, pimpernel" - Sir Percy

Comments:

Once again, another movie I really liked. It was made in 1982, and it is set during the French Revolution. I don't know how historically accurate it is, as I don't know what really happened, but the story, true or false, is great. It can get a tad bit predictable at the end, but it is still good, and
the lead roles are acted superbly. There are several beheadings (on a guillotine, of course) but they never show the person except occasionally they will show someone holding the head from the back. There is no blood during these scenes except on the blade of the guillotine. Overall, I would highly recommend this movie.

Overall:
5

Voices/Animation: 5

Script: 5

Story: 4.5

Scariness: 4-5 (younger children) 3 (older children)

Language: Some (all name-calling, and very mild)

Romance:
Hardly Any

Violence:
Quite a Bit

Blood and Gore: Some - Moderate (though most is faked)

Alcohol/Drugs: None

Magic: None

Favorite Quote: There are so many good ones, but here's one of my favorites: "I'm the only stick with eyeballs!" - Slim

Comments:

I am always surprised at the fact that you never hear anything about this movie. It is such a good movie, very funny with a good, compelling storyline. I would highly recommend this movie, however, it can be very scary for younger kids. There are a few scenes in which several of the characters fake dying , complete with berry juice "blood" (though it is obviously fake). My 5 yr. old sister cried several times during the movie because of violence or sad parts in the story. However, it is still an excellent choice for the moderately brave child. It is also a funny movie for adults and teens, as the diologue has humor that only older people would get, as many Disney movies do. Once again, I would highly recommend this movie.

Throughout, but mild

Violence:
Some - Moderat

Blood and Gore: None

Alcohol/Drugs: Some

Magic: None

Favorite Quote: "Joe, we can't go running around town with a hot princess!" - Irving Radovich

Comments:

This was a wonderful movie! It was the movie that first made Audry Hepburn so famous, and it earned 3 Oscars, including Best Actress. It has a classic sort of a story about an unhappy princess. It is wonderfully put together, and the story is great. There are a few semi-suggestive parts, but it is all mild. I would highly recommend this movie, and it is good for a family movie night.
